Trapped in the daily grind, I can't help but be drawn to the freedom of van life. Scrolling through endless van build photos, I dream of open roads and endless possibilities: the chance to explore hidden corners of the country, the constant change of scenery, and the chance to live a minimalist lifestyle all sound incredibly tempting.

But let's be honest, the lack of readily available restrooms is definitely a hurdle, and onboard systems come with their own set of maintenance challenges. While the romance of van life is undeniable, the practicalities, especially waste management, ground me back to reality. For now, the search for financial security takes precedence. After all, as Prince so eloquently put it, "Dearly beloved, we have gathered here today to get through this thing called life!" Maybe traditional life isn't so bad after all... for now.
